The Challenge
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the event faced new challenges. The landscape of in-person events had drastically shifted, and the Reunion struggled to maintain its relevance with younger and more digitally engaged audiences. Despite years of success, the brand lacked visual cohesion and media presence. With scattered branding and little digital engagement, the event risked losing momentum and missing opportunities for growth and sponsorship.
The Solution
We revitalized the Atlanta Black Family Reunion with a full-scale rebrand, establishing a cohesive identity that balanced its cultural roots with a fresh, modern look. We positioned the event as a family-friendly, high-impact celebration of Black excellence, complete with redesigned visual assets, marketing collateral, and strategic partnerships. As a result, the event has secured over $60,000 and counting in sponsorships from major partners including Navy Federal Credit Union, Georgia Natural Gas, and Kroger. In 2025, new partnerships with Apple and The Greater Georgia Urban League confirmed the event’s renewed influence and upward trajectory.
